Ghyll Royd Care Home is proud to announce the successful installation and commissioning of their brand new solar panels. The project, completed last Friday, marks a significant step forward in the care home’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, as outlined in their ESG plan and policy.

These state-of-the-art solar panels boast an impressive capacity to generate a staggering 46,054 kWh of clean, renewable energy per year. This translates to a remarkable reduction of 21,637 kg of CO2 emissions annually – that’s the equivalent weight of eight and a bit Spellman Care minibuses!
