I have worked in Healthcare for many years and my responsibilities are to oversee the Governance and Development of our Care Homes. I work closely with the Managers to ensure we deliver the very best person-centred care in an environment that is modern, stylish, and welcoming.

I am privileged to work with a team that strives to uphold our values of kindness, dignity, and compassion, where our staff feel valued, and our residents’ needs are met to the highest standard.
I am always looking at new ways to improve our service and love being involved in constant upgrading and refurbishing of our Homes.

Outside of work, I like to stay active and spend time with my family, friends, and dogs! I love to travel (when possible) and my hobbies include golf, football and gardening.

Tracy Cousins | Group Recruitment & Retention Manager

I moved into the role of Group Recruitment and Retention Manager in 2021, having previously worked within one of the Homes, Ghyll Royd Nursing Home, for 20 years. This experience means I really understand the workings of the Home, and what values we expect of our employees.

I love working with each of the Homes to make sure we swiftly recruit new, high quality members of the team, and work hard to ensure that we retain our long standing members of the team.

Peter Chadwick | Marketing Manager

I joined the Spellman Care team in December 2022, having completed my Level 3 Media course at Craven College.

Whilst at College, I worked for a local Primary Care Network, maintaining their Social Media platforms & marketing output, with my main focus on advertising the COVID-19 Vaccination Programme.

One of my responsibilities at Spellman Care is to work closely with the Activities Coordinators across all four homes, ensuring that relatives are updated on the activities that their loved ones have been participating in, whilst showcasing our teams' hard work.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking our dog, and creating short films.
