On Saturday, members of the Ghyll Royd Care Home team were joined by family members and friends of the home on their first charity dog walk.
The walk, which when complete will cover 75 miles, is being led by Home Manager Nichola Harrison.
On Saturday the first stretch of the walk took participants from Ghyll Royd Care Home, Guiseley, to The Famous Woolpack Pub, Esholt and back. The walk covered 4.11 miles, heading through the historic Esholt Woods.
Nichola Harrison, Home Manager said… “Thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday to raise money for the MND Association. We have residents living with MND at Ghyll Royd, so it’s a cause incredibly close to our hearts and one that we are proud to support.”
“We’re looking forward to our next walk, with plans to do the Swinsty and Fewston Reservoir Circular, and to visit Bolton Abbey in the near future.”
