Spellman Care Appeals to Local Community to Help Bring Easter Joy to Airedale Hospital

Spellman Care is proud to announce its official support for the Airedale Hospital & Community Charity’s 2026 Easter Appeal. By acting as a key collection partner across the region, the care group is helping to ensure that every patient spending the Easter period at Airedale Hospital receives a special gift.

The appeal, which launched last week across Spellman Care, has already seen a heart-warming response from the community, with donation baskets at several homes starting to fill with Easter eggs, games, and activities.

This initiative is deeply rooted in Spellman Care’s commitment to its core values of Kindness, Dignity, and Compassion. By rallying residents, staff, relatives and the public to support Airedale’s charity, the group continues its tradition of looking outward to help those in the wider community in addition to it’s residents.

Philippa Young, Operations Manager at Spellman Care, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled to be supporting the Airedale Hospital & Community Charity’s appeal this year. Our teams and residents always look forward to these collaborative efforts, and seeing the baskets already starting to fill up is a wonderful testament to the generosity of our local community. At Spellman Care, we believe that small acts of kindness can make a significant difference, and we are proud to help Airedale Hospital bring a little extra joy to their patients this Easter.”

This partnership follows a string of successful charitable drives hosted by the group, including last year’s Christmas present collection for the Secret Santa Appeal and a previous initiative providing handbags for the Love Grace Appeal to support victims of domestic abuse.

Donation Drop-Off Points: To support the Airedale Hospital appeal, donations can be dropped off at the following Spellman Care locations:

  • Craven Nursing Home, Skipton
