✨A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our 2024 Annual Christmas Cake Competition! ✨

We extend our gratitude to Craven Nursing Home for hosting the event in their Swan Dining Room. The festive spirit was truly alive, with the enchanting sounds of singer Shane’s Christmas Selection filling the air, as residents enjoyed the delectable cakes and seasonal treats.

And now, for the moment we’ve all been waiting for… the winners!

🥇 1st Place: Steeton Court Nursing Home! Their beautifully crafted cake, with its touching story and unique whisky twist, captivated the hearts of residents and their loved ones.

🥈 2nd Place: Ghyll Royd Care Home! Their hilarious “Drunken Santa” cake, depicting Santa tumbling from a Christmas tree adorned with sparkling lights, was a true showstopper.

🥉 3rd Place: Craven Nursing Home! Their heartwarming Christmas wreath cake, inspired by cherished memories of family wreath-making traditions, was a delightful tribute.

We also want to acknowledge the creativity and deliciousness of Springbank Care Home’s “Naughty and Nice” snowglobe cake, which wove a captivating Christmas tale.
