We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated and experienced Night Nurse Manager to join our team at Steeton Court Nursing Home.

In this role, you will provide leadership to our night care team, ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-led nursing care, and foster a warm, safe and supportive environment that reflects our core values of compassion, dignity and kindness.

Responsibilities
• Provide clinical leadership and act as shift leader for the care team during night shifts.
• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-led nursing care, ensuring residents remain at the heart of all care delivery.
• Assess residents’ needs and develop, review, implement and audit individual care plans.
• Administer and manage medication in line with professional, regulatory and organizational standards.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date and confidential clinical records.
• Oversee night shift operations, maintaining appropriate staffing skill mixes and smooth unit management.
• Provide guidance, coaching and support to care team colleagues, fostering a positive working environment.
• Monitor residents’ health, respond promptly to changes in wellbeing, and liaise effectively with external multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Promote the dignity, independence, wellbeing and personal choices of every resident.
• Participate in quality assurance monitoring, incident reviews and root cause analysis to support continuous service improvement.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, colleagues and senior management.
• Maintain active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and work strictly within the NMC Code of Conduct.
