We are seeking a caring and dedicated Night Nurse to join our team at Craven Nursing Home. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, person-led nursing care and help create a warm, safe and supportive community that reflects our core values of compassion, dignity and kindness.

Responsibilities
• Deliver safe, compassionate and person-led nursing care, ensuring service users are at the heart of care delivery.
• Assess residents’ needs and undertake care planning activities to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs.
• Administer and manage medication in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Provide clinical guidance, leadership and support to care team colleagues during the night shift.
• Promote the dignity, independence, wellbeing and choices of each resident.
• Respond promptly to changes in residents’ health and wellbeing, demonstrating problem-solving skills to adapt and address situations quickly.
• Maintain current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and work within the NMC Code of Conduct.
• Demonstrate excellent clinical, communication and organisational skills.
• Show flexibility and adaptability in meeting residents’ changing needs throughout the night.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of those individuals supported by the service.
